A lot of time was spent last month configuring and perfecting the setup of the DNL Exchange system. Essentially, the Exchange is a 100% Free way to list your domain names, websites, content, templates, or services for sale. There is even an employment section available to both potential employees and employers!
Any member of DNLodge can participate in the Exchange and there are no post requirements or any type of intangible cash required to use the system.
Auctions, fixed price sales, and trades can be setup depending on your needs. All listings on the Exchange are also posted in a new subforum in the Marketplace Forums for ease of use and visibility to people who prefer to use the forums to conduct sales.
If you are like most domainers and website traders, you will often post your sales thread in many different forums in order to get the best exposure and to really advertise your sale to get the highest possible price. The great thing about the DNL Exchange is that you will have a unique URL for your sales listing that you can post in other forums. This allows anyone to bid or buy your product instantly! The system is setup to work with Paypal so all transactions can be automated!
Both the buyer and seller will receive a private message about the status of the sale.
Comments and questions can be enabled on any auction, sale, or trade. Remember, all listings and transactions are FREE and there are no additional costs to using this system.
In the coming weeks, we are going to write some more "formal" rules regarding the use of the DNL Exchange but for now we are going to let it loose and see where it goes!
Lastly, we are open to any comments and suggestions for the Exchange. Please feel free to use this thread to post your thoughts, questions, or concerns.
