I need some help, I'm considering picking business name. I have come up with a few ideas but nothing really worth posting. I'm interested on how others generate ideas for names and would appreciate some help in trying to find a good business name.

Mostly just running web sites, forums, and developing new sites. All web related.

Try making your business 2 words and having the last word be "media". A lot of web based businesses do that, especially forums owner.

Just play around with cool words, I'm sure you'll think of something!

How about the niche?? What do you plan to do to your forums, websites?? Sometimes, I get my names on what's my purpose in building it.

Well the main company won't have a main niche other than owning forums and other websites, its more of a media company.

Having media at the end, hmm not a bad idea but I do want something unique.

What I will probably do is look through some dictionary terms, oh yeah I looked up what it cost to be an LLC in california, it is $800 a year

If it's an internet company it's probably fine as a Sole proprietorship; I don't see many people suing you for what you're worth (which is why most people set up LLC's)

llc and inc are for registering your company , your company may be selling anything
