Best way to make money online?

Do you think it would be beter to start a website with advertisments, or more of a site that focusses on selling a product?

Selling products would be the way I would go. But If you had a site, like you do, and then make a product and sell it, its much easier because you can advertise your product on your already established website.

Hmm .. cannot say for sure. If you have a good plan to sell something online, that it could be a great idea. If not, ad revenue could be it. Selling your own ads or joining a big ad company (Google, Yahoo)

I try to focus on ads so when im older i can have a site that im earning some money off and not to do anything with it apart from adding two to three articles a day to it!

I think there are pros and cons to both. I like the ad approach myself because I think it takes less interaction on my part to make money. But, I make less money of course. Having an online store that sells popular products is great, but I just think it takes much more business interaction than I like.

It all depends on how much money you have to invest - For a low budget i personally would go for advertising so you dont have to buy stock in ect.

Theres a big market for online shops though.

If you have a well developed and visited site you can earn with ads.
From a new site with no visitors you will earn only if you will offer something.

But there are other things as advertising and selling products...you ca earn with a forum...

One of the best way is to get employed online. You will not spend anything and you'll earn. What if some employer offered you $50 a week as a start up and it be increase in the coming weeks?

Yes, but employment online is limited and you do have to pay internet charges and electricity, plus any maintenence to keep your computer going...

I think if a site focuses on selling a product, it can get more money faster, if the product sells. If the website does sell products, I do not think the website should contain any ads.

Ads are an easy way to earn money, but they take a lot of time (depending on your hits) and may sometimes hurt your hit count (your visitors do not like the ads). So, I agree with everyone else--start ad-free until your website is stable and then add some.

I say products. It's so hard to make money through advertisements. For me, i've made a TON of money selling products/services and only a few cents[literally] through advertisments.

I havent sold products on any of my websites so I would say advertisments. I wouldnt know where to start to sell products because I dont get where you would find people to buy it all.

Have you tried High Yield investment programs? - a dodgy area but if you know what you are doing you CAN make money - you can also lose it pretty quickly if your not careful

all of the HYIPs are scams
i do invest in ones my friend owns... he would not scam me and i help him promote the sites

Don't bother with any of those kind of business's specially PTP.

Another way to make money is black hat isn't very good, takes a while to learn.
