I hear people saying "reestate" is a good way to make a ton of money... but what are the startup costs, and is it worth the investment?

You always here people getting rich quick with realestate, but I'm not positive this is the case with everyone.

I think it has to do somewhat with luck too.

Luck is not it, like anything else you just need to know what you're doing and do your homework. The real estate market is going to tank, but there's still ways to make money with the right opportunities.
