Ways to Find Customers Before they Find You

You can be active in finding customers for your business. There are a couple ways that I have done so. First there is, of course, word of mouth. I may have done a job for someone and then they meet up with another who could use my services and send them my way. Or I may hear of someone who could benefit from my services and contact them to see if I can help.

I have also found a great deal of work through forums. I may post about my services and often I reply to requests for projects I can complete.

You can also join freelance groups and some of the websites online that help match up freelancers with those needing work completed.

Also, i'll say if you provide quality and timely work with great service, not only your clients come back to you, they also bring new clients (i myself experinced this).

and i think keeping old clients is also essential part as much as getting new ones

This is especially true for forums. Common sence. If people dont like your forum, they wont come back. But if they do, then they will come back and post more! YEA!
