Default Yahoo directory

Has anyone here paid to be listed in the Yahoo directory? If so, have you seen enough increase in traffic to justify the costs?

I know someone who has done it but they think it too expensive for what it is. You need to get ranked high on your keywords in the directory to get any traffic he say he only got about 50 unique from it this month.

I think it's worth it if you have the extra money to spend. However, if you're hurting on money for advertising, your money may be best spent elsewhere. Furthermore, DMOZ is free and you'll receive much better results from it.

I would never pay so much for something like that and for something that isn't even guaranteed. I'm sure it's just like DMOZ and doesn't help with revenue or PR.
