Video Website - will people use it ?

We have recently started new product line on our busyness - video websites. People may insert in to their website youtube links and watch them on their website or even to make a video collection there.

How do you thing does it worth to develop this direction of products? Or costs spent to create this branch (such websites costs much more than regular) do not worth trying?

i think video website is the best way to market your products in the net and also to your site but what bothers me is it might affect page loading time that is really essential in SEO

page load time will depend only on video size. and also please mention that youtube loads video by parts and when you are loading movie you may start watching it.

yeah youre right about that, sometimes video loading time depends on how huge the file is, how it is edited and sometimes in Youtube the buffer time is longer than the video loading time

we may allow users to place videos on their host, but it will take longer time to add a new video to site. will this help?

Do not sure really that will help. To host vids on youtube seems for me much more useful that personal host and not all hosts support streaming video - please note this also.

the main idea of multimrdia trmplates is that their design is made so, that video look like a ative part of a website and not separate video box.
