What do you think of DN Lodge?

Hey guys.

What d you think of DN Lodge? How do you like the forum style? We are looking for some suggestions on the appearence of the forums.

IF it were me, i would have the forum listings as second page. On the home page, i will show some other information like "Today's threads", "Selected Threads", "Latest Articles" and something like that, rather than just forum listings, which keeps on changing.

i like (and got) this idea from http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/. Maybe a few other things which will make it look better when a new user visits the site to attract them.

I liked the older skin better. Not that this one is bad but the logo kinda went with the skin. Also this is fastest growing forum I have seen yet.

I know that you guys have to make cash to keep the site up, but the adverts are quite annoying at times.

I'm interested and may implement a system so ads are only viewed to people who arn't logged in.

But which ads do you find annoying?

Honestly, all of them! I really hate adverts, but yeah, I know you guys need to make cash to keep the site up, but personally the Yahoo! Ad's don't bother me that much, the rest do tho.

I think it'd feel better if the ads were on the right hand side verses the left. My own thought. Maybe i've been hanging around npros too long.

I like the new DNLodge a lot more then the old one. There is one problem though. In firefox the whole site loads fast expect for the content (middle) part on each page. Sometimes it takes over 10 seconds for the middle part to load and it gets tiring.

This is a really annoying parse twitch in FF, It should be fixed with the next seo mod release.

I like the forums. Nice look except for when you're doing updates[i'm guessing] and all of the images and links are broken.
