Thread of the Day / Today's Featured Thread

Hi,
How about starting a "Thread of the Day" or "Today's Featured Thread" area at the top of the forums?

The originator of the thread will get more DNL$, say, instead of DNL$1 he/she gets DNL$10.

This will increase morale of the posters and a competition and they'll try to post something more imporant everytime to get more DNL$, to get those features which you provide with DNL$ like hosting or ads etc.

Oh, and it needn't have a thread daily there. i mean thread gets that rep if its really good, else there might be no thread for a day if theres no thread to qualify for that importance.

Great Idea!! I'm looking into it tonite, and there should be something up by the end of the night!

I wont be doing a daily thread though, more like a thread of the week instead. There arnt that many threads that get created daily.

Just thought how to do it, there can be 2 moderaors which can choose the thread,

why 2 (or more than 2)?

well, what if the moderator who is responsible for choosing the thread, posts a thread which is really great? he can certainly choose his own, but that might(not for sure) lead to some criticism. So, with 2 moderators, if one posts and its great the other one can see to it that, that thread is chosen.


BTW, it snot must to choose a thread, and there can be (possibility) more than one thread chosen for the "Thread of the day" or none at all.

So, you dont have to choose anyone at all, if none is so important.

Important in terms like, they ask a real great question, which everyone thinks was really inteligent to ask.
