STAY AWAY FROM 1and1

Their support is non-existant and they have no advanced options for thier domain users.. This means no push option and if you want it done then you will have to somehow get in touch with them to initiate the transfer process (which will cost you over $5 to do so)

NO support = not a good service.

Thanks for the warning. I see their ads everywhere! PC World... and all the PC magazines. They must spend a fortune on advertising.. geez!

I agree, their customer support is horrible. And they even tried to charge me for a domain I never signed up for.

I have heard this from many people and stopped displaying their affiliate banner because of the bad rep.

I almost registered with them, then I realized you had to be from the US or Canada. Crap. What kind of hosting company shuns international customers? Weird...

I registered a great real estate domain name with 1and1, they already bothered me cause they didnt accept my DNS nameservers. They are years late.

Yea, I think they get all their customers from their advertising in magazines such as pc magazine. They have like 4 page ads, jeez!
