It is extremely popular. You can upload and edit pictures, photos...orginise them in albums, send them quickly on desired mails...

I use photobucket for main images of my websites and such. I find it nice because I can upload up to 19 images at once so that really saves time!

Not bad, never used them. I've always used imageshack because they don't require signup. Do they charge anything?

I have a shop on gaiaonline.com and I have 1/4 of the images on my hosting and the other 3/4 on my photobucket... So far I've maxed my server's 6gb every month and photobucket keeps on going-for FREE!

I'm actually thinking of becoming premium though-if their basic accounts are this good premium should be better

Yeah, Imageshack is better, quick uploading, don't have to sign up and stuff.

Signing up isn't the worst thing you can do... You Just provide a fake name and off you go! *didn't say that*

Seriously, I'm happy with photobucket and recommend them to anybody, and signing up also means having all of your pics in one place, accessable all the time and you dont have to record all of the urls yourself

I hate the signup thing , would prefer Imageshack which i feel is fast & easy to upload images.

I dont use photobucket myself but I know a lot of friends who use it daily. They love the organization and the ease of being able to upload and manage images.

Yes, I use photobucket, have for years. most recently I have hosted some swf files there to make some games on my forum. I do worry that if my forum gets busy, the bandwidth may get exceeded then i'll have to look for other free alternatives or maybe even a paid service. I did recently open account with image shak and having good experience there. they offer 120mb of bandwidth per hour. I do not know how to calculate this in a way that I can understand it.

I like photobucket...except for it's bandwidth limit. However, now, I would rather just upload things onto my own hosting service rather than to free hosting services. But, photobucket is still good for organizing your images!

yeha i love the Imageshack shell quick upload feature, process is so fast. but since webhosting is so cheap these days, i just put stuff on my own server, that way i have full control.
