yeah I noticed that too, cant wait. The index is already indexed by most of the search engines, which is the fastest ever for my sites.

Won't take long to move up the ranks... traffic is high now and it's only gonna get higher the more active everybody is. More useful content... only gonna get better.

hopefully you will get some results for web masters database, as opposed to webmastersdatabase.

have you got meta tags in here? utilising the keywords?

well how many search engines actually run off of meta tags anymore? I dont have any set up but dont feel its a huge need. The keywords are important for sure. I dont know what would be a good title exactly.

I would recommend using them. If you go to google and type Waroona Ambulance, the top result is a website I made. The description it provides is exactly what I put in the description meta tags, so they do use them.

Yahoo (Still the biggest SE) uses meta tags. Description meta tag is the first thing that gets returned for any search term. I'd put em in there just for the sake of completeness.

Another thought I just had. (I have those now and then) was maybe you could do an site introduction thread. One that stays sticky forever. Something a bot is going to hit over and over again. Using some keyword saturation and internal linkage within that thread. Don't even have to be able to reply to it... just informative and for SEO purposes. Just an idea but could do some good.

I'd change your title to "Webmasters Database Forum" or something similar, get those keywords in there...SEs (and visitors) love those titles. When combined with <h> tags amazing things happen.

also.. am I the only one that finds the category order to be a little odd?

You'd think you'd want the general chat and tutorials and announcements at the top. That could be just me though. lol

Yes create your meta tags to the fullest if some of the bots don't use it, so be it. Defently tell the bots where to go

Dunno man... never used vB before. If you can't edit html headers from the ACP... then yeah... you gonna have to do it by hand.
