Blogger is one of the top known blogging sites. You can create a blog there in a minute.
Good sides:
- you can open multiple blogs within the same account
- you can send a post on a blog via mail.

Bad:
-You can't set up categories (as I know).

Can you host a Blogger's blog on your Web hosting?

I use Blogger. Well, I have a blog from them. I don't know about the hosting thing though.

Yes you can surely host your blogger blog in your hosting server. Just go to their help page and you will find the complete instruction. The instruction are easy and hope you won't find any trouble...

YEs blogger's blog can be hosted on our own servers.. while signing up there is option called advanced option.. give all the neccesary detail like ftp access, server etc..

but why to take tension if they are providing on there own server..

Why Blogger on own server? I heard that Blog with own domain has good SEO capabilites related to that long .blogspot domain. (I heard this many times).

I've used blogger and other blog hosting websites in the past, as well as using my own scripts/others scripts to implement a solution as well. I think Blogger is a great resource for new and advanced bloggers/computer users!

Blogger is one of the best except that it doesn't have categories just like in wordpress. It is much easier to set up, use and modify. 8.5 points to Blogger hehe :D

well i would actually get a blog on my server than blogger , cause i had heard that many countries had banned it.

It's good to use blogger for you can easily integrate adsense with it just thru the admin panel! That's one hell of a good feature! What I don't want from it is that it doesn't have the categories but I've heard that some hacks have enabled it!
