I've dealt with a few web hosts and have found StartLogic is one of the best. Good, cheap packages with more than enough disc space and b/w and great 24/7 customer service.

if you hadn't said they are good, i would've thought of them as not good hosts which'll go bankcrupt soon

They run that special every once in a while. It is $1 for the first 3 months with a one year agreement... it is still a great deal but you gotta read the small print on that one, lol!

I used to go though them. I had very bad experience trying to transfer my domain from them after hosting expired. They would not tell me my password so I could autorize the domain transfer.

They probably wanted you to stay, but after that, you probably wanted to leave more.

They were my first host. I had some support problems so I leaft them though
