I've been lucky, no problem here. What have your experiences been, Zockloros?

I've been relatively lucky. I have, however, had one incident. A malicious user was able to gain access to my account, and attempted to transfer $500 to his account. Luckily, I had very little money in my account, so the transfer failed. However, the person had attempted a bank transfer in the same amount, causing a overdraw fee to be occurred. Granted, I was able to get the fee waived by the bank (luckily for me). However, it is the concept that matters. I was unable to stop the bank transfer whatsoever, which is my number one problem with PayPal.

Okay, since you requested I post them Brandom. . . I have been paid with stolen paypals for approximately 1000 USD worth of non tangible goods. After the items are received, the payment is reversed and Paypal basically says screw you. Whenever I have bought something and not received it I call Paypal up and they leave it to their autmated resolution system in which I always lose. They have also put a completely random restraint on my account before when I got an upsurge in sales, making me lose a lot of money.
I can completely understand why Gareth would jump out the window because of Paypal. . . .

I thankfully haven't had any bad things happen with paypal. although I do wish you could cancel transfers form your bank account to paypal.

My only bit with paypal is that money can be reversed, this is because paypal allows credit card companies to charge fraud payments back.

Exactly, that is the main reason why there is so much fraud on it. People get three chances to get their money back after getting what they paid for. (1) Non-receipt claim, will work in the scammer's favor most of the time (2) Pretending they didn't have control of their acct when the claim or the payment was made (3) Filing charge-back at credit card company or bank -- always gets their money back.
That's why paypal sucks.

I have had them for about 3 years and no problems here. They always win the chargebacks for me so I don't lose money!
