MSN Hotmail is a free web-based e-mail service, which is accessible via a web browser. Its competitors include AIM Mail, Gmail, and Yahoo! Mail.
The offer 2MB e-mail storage, signatures, stationery, HTML compatible and more.
They just came out with their beta version. It's not as good as the original and they're trying to spice it up with users being able to change the temlate.
I have like 50 accounts there though. I remember they used to be the sh!te.
It's still one of my favourite email providers, right next to Squirrel and GMail.
Anyone else use them or have horror stories? I know sometimes they give people trouble and have a lot of downtime.

Hotmail offers 1 GB storage, not 2MB

Got it from Google. I know they switched. It was kind of recent though.

My hotmail account always gets deactivated (is this the right term). I think you have to log-in every 30 days, and sometimes I don't.

That's pretty lame. Also I remember taking a lot of time answering Hotmail's endless questions when trying to register a new Hotmail account for a friend, I used to use Netscape email back then, now I use Gmail which basically rocks !

Hotmail is meant for msn lol. As far as email goes it sucks: no space and easily targeted by hackers.

I use my hotmail for MSN that's why I don't log into my e-mail account often.

It is easily targeted by hackers but they offer just as much space as GMail.
