What's everyone's experience with eBay like?

I remember getting screwed over by someone from that site. Has that ever happened to you?

I think eBay in itself is pretty good. It's just the people who use it that make it suck.

I've never been screwed! Thank goodness!

I buy lots of stuff from eBay - books, magazines, dog toys. I even bought a George Foreman grill for less than $20. And it's brand new.

Never heard of OverStock but I think that eBay ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND i GET SOME REAL BARGAINS FROM THEM

I sometimes sell on there. Get a good amount of money from the things I sell. Might even start a business off there.

I do see alot of seller losing a lot of money there, a ps3 from the uk costs around £480 with posting and packaging and I have seen some go for less than £400

Either something is wrong with the product or the seller needs quick cash.

Yeah, or had bad luck with timing etc.
