Doesnt work like that, I had over 1000 posts and 1 am banned until october now for no reason...

I think I only have around 100 posts and I have 1 infraction point. I should be more careful, I don't want to be banned from DP.

It's a great site, they are strict as you said though. I remember getting an infraction for spamming when I bumped my appraisal thread (the only reason I needed to bump it was because I had responded to so many other people's appraisals).

Well, I wasn't really purposely bumping. I was just responding to people and didn't notice that I got two consecutive posts. Bummer.

"No reason." I love when people say that. Obviously there was a reason.
It often does work like that. If you get 5 infractions for petty things and you have acquired a lot of posts, you won't get banned.
If your infractions build up, you'll get banned.
There's always a reason. If you're banned from now until October must have been a little but more severe than usual. They probably banned you on the spot instead of using the infraction system.

Me, I bumped my threads unknowingly. I won't ever do that again. I'm just glad that my infractions are going to expire before July.

It was so funny. There's a girl there with almost a hundred infractions. Most expired of course. She almost has 20k posts and she's been there for a while, as you can imagine. We were all laughing about it though.

Digital point is good, and it isn't that hard to follow the rules they have there even if some of them don't make much sense.

i never break their rule. but they banned me for having a duplicate account. the thing is i only have one account at dp. they never gave me a chance to explain myself. they have detected my ip address. im not the only one who uses this computer here in the office. the other shifts also uses this and they also have accounts at dp! That isn't fair. They never warned me.
