I actually got banned for ten days. It really wasn't my fault. Rob is a ----head.
He's had it in for me for a long time.

I read the thread that got you banned, and I actually agree with the banning.
When you start questioning mods and admin and participating in chat that accuses mods of being corrupt what do you think will happen?
Sorry,
Geoserv.

I never implied anything toward the staff. They misinterpreted. There's like 2 people who agreed with the ban. It was unfair. Rob just doesn't like me because I corrected him in a thread and his ego couldn't take it.
No one knows the reason I got banned but the staff and I. Everyone just assumes.

I have also an account at DP at I have 1000+ posts there. It's more than 1 month I did not open my account and when I try to login, it says that the password is incorrect. I was not actually banned but my acount was in light red color (Maroon is the banned one). I don't know why it got a color red. I use the forgot password but still I cannot login.

I came from DigitalPoint, although I like to join smaller sites and help them grow.
DigitalPoint is a amazing community, I won't lie, although the moderators there need to get their act together and actually moderate again.

I wonder how people feel about them now, knowing that their administrator is a spammer.

Spammer? He's just recently been filed for money laundering.
That guy screwed himself so bad, he wanted to become rich too fast. I have a feeling DP will either be sold or go offline permanently in the next few months.
Everytime someone clicked on portions of DP he received affiliate money...
He already makes over $50,000.00 daily from the site, why screw yourself now. Not like he needs money.

I like DP, yes its strict but if your a forum owner you should know that some people will post without reading the rules, now you get a few thousand or even hundred users doing that and it becomes a lot of work for mods and admins.
Admins and mods would rather spend their time being part of the community then instructing people about the rules. I've received a few infractions and its justified, had I read the rules then it wouldn't have happened but at times it does seem that the rules are too strict but if you don't like it then don't use it right. |

But if you take a mod or admin position, you need to be a mod or admin more then a community poster.

I disagree,
The admin and the mod are as much a part of the forum as any member, a forum were the staff is active is a forum that will gain some attention, I mean having staff lurking in the back and not doing much other than moderating all the time isn't healthy for the forum.
In my other post I was referring to forums and mods in general and not dp towards the end.

do you really think that DP will either shut down or be sold in the next few months, I never really thought it would go that far.

I didn't know he got arrested, it didn't say that in the new story I read.
