Typo Domains

Do typo domains work? I'm assuming good typos get a lot of traffic. Can you get in trouble for buying a typo (ex: gooogle.com) If you had a typo would you develop the site or just park it?

i had read something about typos, the guy said he made a lot of money.

but i find it hard to believe, when i make a typo i leave.

i think when you look for special content and it is not on the site you will leave.

but that is what i do, i dont know what other people do.

It works well actually. I don't normally type in an address in the bar though but i'm sure a lot of people do. There's quite a number of people asking for typos.

You have to remember to watch out for issues with trademarks when registing typo domains.

Not really. Like MySpace owns MySpace not MyPsace or anything like that.
