On Free Flatform for blogs - What's your Take?

I have several blogsites at blogger.com. I feel that I am able to take advantage of this free flatform that's very ideal for those who would like to have their own blogs without wanting to spend any money. Aside from this is the fact that we earn from the side if we can have Google Adsense accounts. But they say such blogs are not safe because anytime, anything can go wrong, and the worse that can happen is that you might lose your content. What can you say about these free blog flatforms?

Since Blogger.com is owned by Google I think it's very reliable, more reliable than any other host.

I have a huge amount of blogs at Blogger because of the AdSense.

Yeah blogger is great I was with them for a few years. Not sure if this is the right section btw... anyways now I'm with wordpress .

Does blogger offer any option to download your content for backup? Last I checked mine a few months back (and haven't used it since I've used WordPress by then), they still haven't.

I'd take the subject of backups into consideration if I were in your shoes.

Just pubish it on your own server and then download to your hard drive.

If your concerned, I would suggest simply copying and wasting all your major content into a word files, or multiple words files. You can't download backups via blogger, as far as I know.

But I doubt anything like that will ever go wrong with Blogger, since it is owned by Google, who is very reputable.

Yeah I forgot to mention that you really shouldn't have to worry about backups since yes, they are indeed owned by google.

But do what I said and it should be fine. Just like a backup baby.
