Anybody know an easy way to learn the Gimp?
I have found it tough to learn.

i haven't seen tutorials for it, but that would be cool. It is pretty similar to photoshop though. Glad someone out there is writing tutorials for it..

Gimp is the only graphics program that I've ever used - probably because I'm poor.

It has it's downsides, and yes, it's kinda difficult to learn, but it can do some really nice stuff. And best of all, it's total freeware!

I'd encourage the graphics newbie to check it out. If you know your stuff on computers, you can figure it out.

I'd say that it is probably no more difficult to learn than Photoshop, just a bit different in some aspects.

I have attempted using Gimp, but it seems I cannot do so well with it... I will stick with my ArcSoft Photoshop or whatever...

ohh AWSOME program i use it when i am in linux a lot. i love it, they have a windows version but its not as good. i usually use it when i want to make a simple logo cause its easy to do.
