Which is the best software to design logos?

For logos I used corel. It's Ok with the vectors, a bit weird when you start working with it, but quite nice afterwards

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 here. It's the first and only program i've ever used. I may have to take a lot at some of these others.

Actually it's depend on your creativity...Although the best software it is, it not guarantee the quality of you work

I use Dreamweaver CS3 (newewst version) in conjunction with Photoshop for designing. Works very good.

Image styler from adobe is also a good software for designing a logo.

Illustrator or some vector based program is a must. you can resize multiple times and not worry about losing quality - ahh the beauty of vectors.

In the past, I have liked logomaker.com. It will generate pretty nice looking icons and images and it works right from the web via flash. I think HP bought them out as well but I have not noticed any changes.
