Question Hostgator or LiquidWeb?

For a VPS plan is hostgator or LiquidWeb better in your opinion. Any experience with them?

Probably hostgator. I don't think I have heard of liquid web. This site is hosted on a dedicated machine with hostgator. They have really fast response times for support.

hope that helps
Nigel

Liquidweb. They have the best servers and support and no overselling.

LiquidWeb oversell. It's pretty clear because of the amount of bandwidth you get. I don't think they could cover wholesale bandwidth at those prices. Maybe. But their overselling is more realistic than Host Gators, so if you're deciding between them I'd go with LiquidWeb.

LiquidWeb's website looks better than HostGator's too Not that it matters in the world of technical differences.

I could be wrong. But like I said, if they do oversell a bit, they're only overselling on the bandwidth (not the space) and its responsible anyway.

I'd only consider overselling a problem if they were selling 300GB space.

I apologise success49085 if I've hit a nerve or something for you. That's just how it seems, and I don't profess to be an accurate truth on the matter. I was just sharing my opinion and observation.

IMO if you have a 30 day Money Back gaurantee on the packages, You should opt for LiquidWeb as that will give you ample of time to check the level and Quality of VPS Web Hosting service. After the 30 days you can transfer your entire account to the new web hosting company once you are assured.

Whatever, Hostgator or LiquidWeb i don't know the answer but our company has been a customer for about six months. We have always been impressed with the prompt and reliable support and have recommended Drupalvaluehosting enthusiastically to colleagues and clients. For us this high level of professional support has been a key ingredient in expanding our scope and solving problems as they arise.

LiquidWeb (doesn't oversell) is by far superior to HostGator (oversells). I highly recommend their services.
