Sharing ad revenue works, except your not likely to make that much money at all.
Look at DP, I've been there for months and never heard of anyone making more then $1.00

To really make some money you have to generate tons of traffic which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I see this more of a benefit for forums than users, since users will begin posting more.

It would certainly help, no doubt in my mind about that. But then how exactly does the forum make money. I know that you may not want it, but most people understand that even getting 90% of the ad money is better then 50%.

Yep, I realize that. Although what I am saying is that 90% or so would be enough to still help the forum while also significantly helping the user.
