Script to protect images

I am working on a website that showcases other artist's work. How does one program the images to display beautifully without allowing
the end-user to steel the image?
In the past, I've used a script that just disables the right click function. I'd like something a bit more sofisticated where it is an
ecommerce site. Remember, I am not a sofisticated programmer...so be specific as to what to do with script if you send any.

Try to search a javascript code that disable the right click function when someone wants to copy your image. Try to visit w3schools if they have that code.

There is no way to protect your images 100%. The right click javascript, for xmaple, Dynamic Drive DHTML Scripts- No right mouse click script III (no alert)

will not keep someone from stealing your images, it just makes them view your source code instead.

The no right click script is usually more of an annoyance than anything.

Well, there are some things on the net that we can't keep. Some people especially hackers are always finding a way on how they can get on what they want.

I'd try the right click script as well as using hotlink protection in CPanel if you use that.
