Php on linux connect to ms sql?

Hi all,

I have php on Linux and i wish to connect to ms sql on a windows server. i am getting:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mssql_connect()
what do i do to fix this?

I am not certain how queries are prompted on a windows server. Can you provide more details on what you are doing? Someone here may be able to assist.

Looks as though he's just trying to connect the database to the code.

I'd Google"Installing PHP & MySQL on Windows". Most sites will include a small tutorial on connecting your first application.
