If you have a older account then you will get a better Squidoo account. You have to realize that all these social networking websites the key factors are that you have to be known and work at being successful. Once you have done it once, people will come back again if you start something new.

You wouldn't really need much of an advice for its rather easy to make one lens. All you have to think about is your content... I am really happy with it, created a page some time ago and it caught a nice PR3 and since then I have been creating pages. here is a sample of what I did.

got some traffic and some backlinks from it.

Make a page, and simply run it as though it was a normal site. Your best bet is to not link anything at the start and as you build link to other sites.

You have to alot time if you make a lens on squidoo. You need also to promote your lens.

It's all about the contents of your lens. Yes, you have to spoil time on optimizing your lens but it's worth it if you're doing good contents on your lens.

I have about 5 lenses and I just don't get the time to do anything with them. I did pay a guy to fix them for me once, but he ripped me off and did not complete the work

How would you effectively optimize a lens? I can't really do much of an off page optimization for it. Any way to mingle with its tags and codes?

I saw your lens and you're in the right track buddy. Just continue what you're doing and add more contents.
