This happens all the time, Yahoo paid some of the best 300 internet "hackers" to help develop the new Yahoo. Microsoft did this as well, Google is to basic so they didn't although these large companies outsource for better response.

Yeah it can be. Even though some big search engine company have a hacker just to provide a quality search engine site for them.Yahoo announced that they need hackers to compete with google SE and that is there strategy

Why would hackers attack the company that is paying them millions?
Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft get hit by hundreds if not thousands of attacks daily, nothing can penetrate 1024bit encryption, yet. Your information is secure, unless you un-secure it yourself.

It's simple, to get more money from them.. I mean, they could easily implant something. Some kind of virus or work.. or maybe Im just paranoid.. hehe Quote:

I don't think who is in a right mind will destroy a company that is giving them a million, Like Yahoo.

This is a pretty good question base from the author of this article “If this hackathon was over, do Yahoo prepared for instances like hackers can implant programs or doorway inside Yahoo’s security?”.
Well, this might be possible perhaps in the long run...

Im just saying that there is still possibility of opening backdoors to their Yahoo's system, anyways a hacker is still a hacker. Im not saying that they will destroy the company because when they do that no one would give money to them. Im talking about planting a bug which only some hackers can fix it, and once Yahoo discovered that they have a bug they call out those hackers and let them fix it. It is same way with those computer technicians who supposedly fix your things but in reality they only make it worst so that you will pay more. Did you guys get my point?? Quote:

Yep.. Definitely a dirty business... It also happen to anti virus companies.. They will spam viruses that their software was the only one that might fix it.. Quote:
