how to submit a website to google, msn and yahoo..

hi everybody,

can someone let me know how can i submit a newly website to google, msn and yahoo. is submission free in these search engines?. and if it is free then pls write the exact submit url of google, yahoo and msn.

and also tell me how can i do search engine submission for my website. i have a "web design and development" related website.

Hi, you don't want to manually submit your website any longer. It takes forever, and causes undue scrutiny early on.

The best way to get your website properly indexed is to place links on the web.

For instance http://www.rateawebsite.com/

Your link appears on the home page for a while. As this site gets regularly indexed, the SE's will follow the link to your site pretty quickly.

I usually never bother, apparently its really good to let the search engine to find you through links

Just go to their site and you'll find a link named SUBMIT to xxx .. Just enter your website and the description. It'll take a lot of time to get indexed, mind you !
