I know in SEO that inbound links is more important. or shall I say they put a lot of emphasis but what I wanted to know is Do outbound links really important in terms of SEO?

By having a outbound link to another site, you are somehow voting for that site,thats how PageRank works. So why you should help other sites and link to them? Actually, by carefully linking to other relevant sites, you are increasing the relevancy of your own site.

The outbound links should be relevant to the content of your site and the page upon which they appear. Linking to high ranking sites will do you far more good than linking to sites which are relatively unknown to the major search engines.

I would say a mixture of both outbound and inbound will be perfect... Outbound links are usually referring links. This will help your readers read more about the related post/topics.

As per my keen knowledge,outbound link is breaking your pe and backlinks..so if have possible to make inbiund links.

By linking to relevant sites, you would of course have to use keywords for that other site that would be helpful to your site as well. When SE crawls this keyword, credit would be given to your site and the site linked to you for that keyword
