I'm on Ezine Article. If your lens is not that popular, ezine is better and totally a "do follow" article submission site that may help you on your promotions and backlinks.

Ezine is better and you can be sure that you're article will stay longer and you'll benefit the traffic and backlinks though I can say squidoo is good as well.

Ezine is pretty big but I don't think it'd bring as much success as Squidoo could bring.

Neither in my personal opinion are good, but squidoo is the better of the two personally.
A lot more indexing and crawling takes place on a actual "site" so to speak, rather then on a individual page.

Squidoo is just like a personal blog while Ezinearticles is online magazines. As on my opinion they are both good in promoting website but they have different target market.. As what i've said, Squidoo is just a personal blog which caters to people who do blogging and if you are not popular there , like in other social network sites, you might be lost in the jungle. While ezines, caters to business people. Plus ezines spread your articles to different ezines too.
This really depends on the person itself on what's their target..

How about submitting articles to Ezine and then creating one for squidoo? I do ezine articles and still have some squidoo lenses. Got some nice traffic for my squidoo and am getting some nice clickouts as well for my sites that I have included in the lens

Good idea. You can use both. I have an account in Squidoo and Ezine. Both are important for backlinks and traffic.

I prefer to use those.... and I prefer to give my vote to enzine articles.. cause my squidoo lenses are not so popular... And it's better to have not only keywords but also a quality content together with your keywords... LOL
