I've read many rumours that the term for which you have registered your domain (1,2,5,10 years) affects your SERPs.
Which of course makes a lot of sense, cause no one will get a domain for 10 years if he is not serious about the project (at least not many people )
I'm planing to invest money for 10 years registrations in my main domains, but because this may reach good amount of money, i decided to ask first if SOMEONE has actually experienced this effect on him self.
Have you moved up in the SERPs when you haven't did anything else about optimising your site but just renewing your domain for more years?
Does someone have idea how often google checks the domain registration term?
