How did you start learning html?

I read a tutorial, can't remember where, it was over 10 years ago.

Didn't really touch HTML for about half a year. I was stuck in WYSIWYG mode because code gave me a headache.

I decided to learn it after reading a few tutorials which taught me how to add nifty things to my page.

So yeah I guess I started learning it from tutorials.
