When your starting to design a layout for a site, do you site and plan it out on paper, or just go for it on the computer?

Nah, I start by opening Fireworks and experimenting with colors and graphics.

Sometimes I draw my layout on paper and i tend to get more ideas that way. I can also go back and change stuff easily without messing up.

I just start from a colour that will be the main theme colour. Then add a nice suggestive image and then just play along. My best inspiration comes while already working on the layout in Photoshop

I find it saves a ton of time if its on paper.. but I usualy end up changing my ideas that was on the paper to better ways when I'm designing.

IF I plan it on paper.. I finish alot faster.. but I usually don't have time for the paper part.. unless I'm not at a computer and have some time.

I don't even start with a basic design in mind, I just go at it and see how it turns out.
