Best Design software?

Dreamweaver 8 is all i hear these days, which software do you use, in conjunction which others?
Reason i am asking this is i am currently thinking on building a site myself, rather than outsource it .... Probably more stupid than brave!
Anyway i would love to hear your pro's and con's and fav sites visited for inspiration...

I am a Dreamweaver user myself and I am not going to change my mind any time soon for the simple reason that this software is fairly simple to use and very powerful, especially when you are not that much of a designer.

I use Dreamweaver CS3 (newewst version) in conjunction with Photoshop for designing. Works very well.

I use dreamweaver , flash and photoshop for web design and development.

Same here Photoshop CS and Dreamweaver 8 haven't tried the latest version yet.
