Editing .htaccess in Dreamweaver

I've had this problem for a while. In Dreamweaver CS3, whenever I try to open .htaccess I get an error saying Dreamweaver doesn't support that file type.

Here's how to fix it.

1. Go into Dreamweaver preferences (Edit > Preferences)
2. Under Category, select "File Types / Editors"
3. In the "Open in code view" text box, add ".htaccess" to the end of the list.
4. Save your preferences.

After following these steps, you should now be able to open .htaccess files in Dreamweaver CS3. I'm not sure if it's the same procedure in earlier versions of Dreamweaver.
