Saying.. "I'm a webmaster"

Are you embarressed at all if people ask you what are your intrestes, or what your job is, do you feel unconfortable saying your a webmaster, or you do websites, or stuff like that? Its not that common of a field, although its growing unstoppably.

I'm not too embaressed, but when people dont know what i'm talking about when i start explaining little things, then I am, but I think there mostly jealous

I don't feel any shame or embaressment. I mean alot of webmasters make it to the big time, which I'm almost at, and I probably get paid twice as much as anyone else I talk to.

The kids at my school don't care much for computers.

However, in HTML class, I get to show off my site, and I get amazing comments and stuff. It's alright.

I am not ashamed at all. I am proud of who I am. I am a radio Dj, I am a karateka, i am a webmaster. I have worked like crazy for all of them, so why be ashamed?

No one ever laughed at me when I told them I am a webmaster. It's something many people can't even understand, lest work at this. All people who hear about my "secret" life respect me even more since they realise I have some skills many don't have

Yea, when you starting talking about "oh I cant believe this damn php string" or something about this and that people really give you odd looks.

Most of my friends know I am a webmaster, but I don't really talk about it. I don't talk about it because their interests are elsewhere.

I'm not to keen on the term webmaster. So I say Web Developer instead.

Most of my friends just dont understand how I can make any money on the web. I usually just talk about other stuff besides being a webamster though

I love talking to other webmasters that I know.. I know of some people who MIGHT have something to do with it.. but I don't really know.. and I don't know how ot find out.
