Did you ever got hacked?

I have never been hacked but I heard that many people were.

Something like their websites,e-mail accounts...

I always use at least 10 character passwords or more,better to be more secure.

Your experience?

wow!! paypal got hacked?? did you lose money?? Last week in India 93 people had filed cases for online theft so I read an article about an nigerian and isareli group sending phising emails to persons from different countries so be careful guys!!

IMPORTANT: Googlemail/GMail Can Be Hacked
In the last week, a lot of people with GMail or Googlemail e-mail accounts have had their accounts broken into.

If you use GMail/Googlemail - especially on a wi-fi network - you need to take these steps immediately:

[a] Sign in to GMail.
[b] Click Settings at the top of any GMail page.

https means SSL encryption, if the site your using is insecure your no more safe then if you were to post your password on a chat room.

GMAIL SSL (HTTPS) is safe, but so is HTTP, SSL just protects your info as you submit it so that if anyone is watching it via XSS then you wont get screwed.

A shared server I was on was hacked about a month ago. Good old DDOS style. It was really sad. I didn't really lose anything so it ended up being fine.

never once have i ever been hacked for any website.

I take tons of security precautions with all my sites and clients sites so they're never hacked as well assuming they stay up to date.
