Default "Too Much Traffic"

Do you think there is any such thing as "too much traffic"

I do, what if one day for some reason you suddenly got 1 million uniques to your site. It would overload and probably crash obviously!

Oh, let me see that day :D

I would gladly pay for a better hosting plan ... but so far this too much traffic didn't happen. The good things is that it's increasing, but not that much to cause server crash ...

Yes, I do.

That'd be when you reach your daily bandwidth limit, and don't have the time/money to transfer it to another host.

Well if your doing untargeted traffic. Like advertising on kids sites for webmaster site is a bad idea, and in that case you would be getting too much traffic.

Your hosting will determine what too much traffic means. If you ever get too much traffic, contact me, I will give you a great place to redirect everything.

I never think there is too much traffic, the more traffic you amass the more clicks on ads you get. So if you suddenly crash, just get a better server

You might have heard of the traditional "slashdotted" or the latest "digged" (or on front page of digg.com). If that happens, even a powerful server gonna crash or at least become overloaded and very slow.

Too Much traffic is beneficial if you're prepared for it, or else it's probably not welcome.
