Default Checking your design in Safari

Does anyone check how their sites appear in Safari?

Do any of you use Safari? I know proskater does (I just read the thread where he said so and decided to start this thread because of it). For those who do, do you find that many websites don't look right in it?

Well I just checked the stats.. and 2.2 percent of all page loads are loaded in a Safari browser. I think that is a big enough percent to make you check your design.. I mean by the time I post this you could have checked your site if you already had Safari installed.

But if you don't think 2.2 percent is a parge number think again.

If your site hits it big time, and you get 5000 uniques a day.... 110 of them are using safari... at least according to the stats. And if your selling something, you can't risk having your design be all screwy in the browser with 110 potential buyers!!

heh.. Just my opinion.

2.2 percent could have all been proskater.. i doubt that the percentage is that high on regular sites that don't have one visitor coming back often and setting it off.

Yea, I don't even have Safari on my computer to check it.

I figure if it looks right in IE 6, Firefox 1.0.7, Netscape 7.2 & 8.0, and Opera 7 & 8, then it better look alright in the others. If not, the others aren't worth having. LOL!

Hm.. True. I think if your code is passes the w3c test... then you should be fine in any browser.
