So which maps do you develop to get your website properly indexed?

Maps, you might ask yourself? Yep, with this I mean

1 Your regular sitemap
2 Google formatted sitemap
3 Yahoo formatted sitemap

and I don't know which MSN preffers but it might be your regular sitemap.

Well on dnlodge we have vbseo which SEO's the vbulletin software. With it we have a yahoo and google sitemap being generated and submitted daily. And there is www.dnlodge.com/sitemap as a normal sitemap. So all three!

I didn't realize Yahoo had a sitemap generator. Do you have information about this?

Jaswinder, vBseo is not a free package and some feel it is priced too high. On the other hand, we've read other great reviews of the software package and decided it would be worth the investment for DnLodge. It has seemed to help, a great deal, with SE traffic for us. The site where it can be purchased is http://www.crawlability.com/vbseo/

@rooted, hmm I don't mean a Yahoo sitemap generator, just a Yahoo formatted sitemap.

Which is just a list of url's as I recall. Might have changed as I read
http://www.clickz.com/news/article.php/3604356

well I screened the article.
