Well.. I've found that text links are great, if you have an image with an alt tag for a link that can also be found as well (Im pretty sure anyways)..
I would DEFINATELY get text links with as many sites as you know and submit
it to sites with similar categories, it pays off big time
I dont get a ton of search
engine finds YET.. But from 0 - about 20 a month, with a Google Sitemap and
text links on many pages in Google I noticed it jumped from about 100-200
a month in search queries where my site came up.
