Default Opera Web browser

First of all, not sure if this is the right secton, but about as close as I could find.

Opera is my favorite web browser, i've always loved it always enjoyed the skins etc. Curious if anyone here uses it, and or, likes it better than the other browsers. FireFox just didn't fit my feel for a web browser, yes, they are similar.

Can't be bothered getting used to Opera...Anyways Firefox seems to be ok, no point changing unless I have a problem with it.

The problem I have with firefox is that when I have too many tabs open it uses up over 90% CPU and causes my computer to slow down a lot so I have to end up closing it I think I may switch back over to Opera if the problem continues.

I gave opera a try the first time they did the free download thing. But there was something about it I forget now just what it was. But it didn't do and FF did so I have to jump back to FF. Over all I think I liked it. Just was that one thing that I have now for gotten what it even was.

OPera has few cute features:
- you can close all tabs or all windows with one click. On next start you can open the browser just where you left it - will all tabs open...
- with short quick mouse movements you can: open or close a window, go a site forward or back, refresh, minimize the window and more.

Only I think some programs won't work with Opera - iespell spell checker for instance.

Never tried Opera myself, I'm happy with firefox though on this PC I'm forced to use IE

and that must be hella tabs to slow it down... I have have 4 windows, 5/6 tabs each, photoshop, msn, yim, aim, paltalk open at once and doesn't effect it...

Opera is factually the best browser.
Faster, smaller, less requirments, built in RSS/Atom , built in BitTorrent, built in desktop widget engine, build in plugin architect, and much more.

Many Norwegians like it :-D
It can be compared with Firefox, and the reason why people don't use Opera a lot, it is, I think - just because it has so many features. Firefox is attractive by its simplicity...

I agree opera is better than firefox. I believe opera has the chance to overtake firefox someday if they keep getting the features they are coming out with. For those of you in the thread who said they havent tried it, take 5 minutes and install it. You'll be shocked how cool and customizable it is.
