| |  vBulletin's Infraction System, Yay or Nay?
Whats your opinion on the new vBulletin Infraction system? This is for the people who have vBulletin for their forum software.
I think it's not very convienent to use, or maybe it's just a matter of having to get used to. But I don't really see it that useful. The feature is deactivated on DN Lodge.
Whats your opinion? Do you use it?

I guess I kind of like it because it helps you to know the kind of person you're dealing with.

Im not 100% sure what it is but I think it is where a user is given a temporary or permenant ban depending on how many warnings he/she has.

Oh ok, so its a like an auto ban dependng on the warnings issued. I like it. If thats how it works then it would be one less chore for admin/mod to do.

An example of the system is if a user starts a thread in thw wrong place, for the remainder of the infraction they will have a message asking them if they feel it's the right place to start a thread whenever they try to make a new thread.

Oh ok, that could get kind of annoying especially if it was an accident or someone that just wasn't clear on where to ask.
I dont like that part.
