Question DHTML Drop Down Menus

How do you do these? I need a tutorial or someone to help me do it using code sniplets. I want it so when users have there mouse over the image button, more links come down. Much like if you click search on the forums, but instead of clicking it and comming down, i want it to come down with the hovering mouse.

I know there are some good tutorials on Macromedia.com for anyone who is using Fireworks. It is suppose to be a pretty easy task through Fireworks but I haven't tried it yet.

I would also suggest getting the sample chapters of Sitepoint's book on CSS. There is a section in it about creating drop down menus all in CSS. I'm about to give this a try and will have to let you know how it goes.
