Is it hard to build a proxy site?

I want to build a proxy site. How hard is it to build one?

The hardest part is the hosting ? If u can find somewhere for it , its all okay

yeah, once you get past hosting and advertisement it is easy to maintain (also easy to build initially)

Probably harder to find a host that will allow you to put one up.

It's not that hard. Just get a script, put it onto your server and voila.

Most hosts don't allow proxy websites on their servers. Asks some hosts if they allow to put up a proxy site, you will find most don't.

Find one that will host an adult site. A lot of times they also host proxies.

Proxy sites should be easy, as said before, all the hosts that I know do not allow them.

As already said, most hosts don't allow proxies. But that's mostly with shared hosting.

If you have a dedicated server, chances are your host won't mind if you're hosting a proxy on it (at least that's the case with www.hostgator.com).

Finding the script, or getting one developed is the easy part.

I have a proxy and it's one of the simplest sites to create. Just upload a script and edit.

FDC Servers are the best deals on the bandwidth and space and price for proxies check them out. I would strongly advice you NOT to start a proxy right now since its summer, yea you might make a couple cents a day but its going to take alot of time and link building to get your proxy to the level that you are normally seeing on most of these forums.
