Coded and Uncoded? What is the difference?

This might be a stupid question but I really want to know the answer. If a designer tells you that he's going to sell an uncoded design. What does that mean?

Its an image of a design that you would need to code or have coded.

Say you took a screenshot of DN Lodge's homepage.

That would be considered "Uncoded".

But viewing the live version of DN Lodge is coded. When I say coded, I mean it is coded in HTML so a browser can render it and different text can be displayed.

If a coder codes a design, he is coding the image so that it can be viewed in a browser, and not only as a static image.
